Geraldine Wade

Geraldine Wade, 78 of Somerset, New Jersey, transitioned this life on February 13, 2018.  She was born on February 12, 1940 to the Late George and Georgia Montgomery. She was a longtime resident of Somerset, New Jersey.

Geraldine loved children and worked as a childcare provider for over 50 years. She was very loving and nurturing to anyone that came into her presence. She was a faithful member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ.

She was predeceased by her husband James Wade, one daughter, Vanessa Cheek.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons; William (Danielle) Montgomery of Fayetteville, NC, James (Vera) Montgomery of Easton, Pa, Brian (Sheila) Wade of Chesterfield, VA, one daughter, Valerie (Bruce) Richardson of New Brunswick. NJ Eighteen grandchildren, Ten great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

A viewing will take place Saturday February 17, 2018 at 9am with a funeral service to follow at 11am at the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens 277 Somerset St. Somerset, NJ 08873.
