Cleola was born October 18, 1954 to Nathaniel and Lillie Robertson. On Sunday March 10th, she peacefully transitioned from this life to unite with our Heavenly Father.
She was a birthday gift to her father as they shared the same birthday. Every year, Cleola’s father would bless her with lovely flowers to celebrate her birthday.
Cleola was born in Chester County, South Carolina. The family later moved to Morristown, NJ when Cleola was very young.
The family moved to Plainfield, NJ where she attended Plainfield public schools. She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1973.
She graduated from Bloomfield College with a degree in History. Cleola’s passion for caring for others lead her to obtain a nursing degree. She worked at Union Memorial Hospital for 30 years.
Cleola accepted Christ at an early age. She attended several churches and eventually joined Greater Refuge Church of Christ. At Greater Refuge, Cleola served on the Missionary Board and was the treasurer.
She is predeceased by her father, Nathaniel Robertson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted mother, Lillie Robertson from Avenel, NJ; a brother, Alvin from Hyattsville MD; a sister, Gwendolyn Pritchett (Willie) of Morristown NJ. A special niece, Mikaela Pritchett, 2 devoted aunts, Carrie Jennings Somerset, NJ; Johnnie Williams of Dover, NJ, an uncle Bobby Robertson of Baltimore, MD and a host of cousins and friends.
