Ahmad Love Campbell, affectionately known as Love to his family was born on January 17th 2000 in New Brunswick, NJ to Frederick Gorrell, Jr. and Charline Campbell.
Love grew up in the New Brunswick area surrounded by a huge family. He graduated from Bound Brook High School in 2018. Ahmad was talented in many things, including music and sports. His love for football began at the age of 6 and kept him involved all the way through high school. He was a talented running back and linebacker. As a teenager he fell in love with hip hop and used music as therapy. This newfound passion led him to pursue a rap career. Ahmad’s work ethic kept him in the studio constantly creating music that he leaves behind for us to cherish today. Known as “XannyLuck”, his music and videos can be found on multiple streaming platforms.
Love was always fresh. You could always find him in a fresh pair of sneakers and a Nike Tech sweatsuit. His love for fashion was inspired by his parents. Love and his father shared a passion for sneakers and his mother studied fashion in college.
Friends and family meant the world to Ahmad. He was a spoiled kid, especially by both of his grandmothers. He was loved on by a slew of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. His first cousins were more like siblings. Love was overprotective of his 4 sisters and countless girl cousins. He had a quiet and sweet demeanor, often times being the voice of reason in most situations. A true testament to his name, Love was known for his gentle spirit, warm heart, charming demeanor, and infectious smile.
Ahmad departed this life on October 5, 2024. He is pre-deceased by his Aunt Marnie Jo Gorrell. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents: Frederick Gorrell, Jr. and Charline Campbell; two daughters: Nana Afua Osei-Boakye (4) and Ka’Mari Love Campbell (1); four sisters: McKenzie Gorrell, Taylor Gorrell, Payton Gorrell, and Savannah Maldonado; two paternal grandparents: Frederick Gorrell, Sr., and Cathy Johnson; two maternal grandparents: Clifton and Nadine Campbell; Aunts: Charde Gorrell and Caroline Campbell; Uncle: Tevin Campbell and Samaad Gorrell and a host of cousins, family, friends and relatives.
