Albert Hoffman Jr.

Mr. Albert "Al" Hoffman Jr
was born on September 23, 1948 in Somerville, New Jersey to the late Albert Hoffman Sr. Arie
Hoffman. He was the first born of three children.
On July 21, 1981 Albert married Rosa Jones. From this union they were blessed with two loving children, Karl and Jessica.
Albert graduated from Somerville High School, attended Somerset County College and went on to graduate from Montclair State where he earned his bachelor’s degree.  Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army as a Militarily officer. He served in Vietnam,  Thailand and Germany and later served as a National Guard and received an honorable discharge from the service.
Albert served as Councilman for the township of Somerville during the early 80's and retired from AT&T after 20 years of dedicated service.
Some of Al's hobbies included coaching various sports and he was also a professional wrestling manager. He loved acting in plays and appeared on one of his favorite game shows "Jeopardy " in the early 90's.
At the age of 72 on December 7, 2020 our dear father, Albert Hoffman Jr. One of the kindest, charismatic and all-around loving man was called home to be with the Lord. He joins his loving parents Albert Hoffman Sr. and mother Arie Hoffman, daughter Mallory Brown, brother James and sister MaryAnn and niece Kenya Davidson who preceded him.
He leaves to cherish his celebration of life and memory his wife Rosa Jones Hoffman, son Karl Hoffman and his wife Esther of Bridgewater, New Jersey,  Jessica Hoffman of Piscataway,  New Jersey, sister Theresa Hoffman of Greensboro,  North Carolina,  and brother Richard Hoffman of Somerville,  New Jersey, 13 grandchildren, Andrew, Destinei,
Layani, Thadeus, Angelei, Kerstin, Rielle, Sophia, Noah, Karliegh, Lilliana, Emma and Melody. 1 great granddaughter Brooklyn. Also, a nephew Troy Davidson and a niece Merci Hoffman.
