Alice R. Brokaw of Somerset, New Jersey was born in Charles City Virginia on February 23, 1915, to the late John and Rebecca Harris. She was called from labor to that celestial home of eternal love and grace on February 14, 2021.
Alice attended school in Charles City, Virginia, she later married George R. Morton (predeceased) and eventually, they moved to New Jersey. From this union one child was born George R Morton Jr. (predeceased).
She was later married to Joseph Brokaw until his death in November of 1990.
She was employed with RCA, Lockheed, she also, worked as a Homemaker Health Aid. She most enjoyed playing the piano and being with her family.
She was survived by her grandchildren: Robert Morton, Diane Jackson, Carolyn Roberts (Edward), Daryl Morton (Carla) and Tanisha Coleman; eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, daughter in -law Annie Anderson and a host nieces and nephews.
