Annabelle Kashatus, April 14th, 1948 to September 19th, 2026, of Piscataway, New Jersey, passed away at the age of 78.
Annabelle had a larger-than-life personality with a voice to match. She was loving, generous, and deeply dedicated to her family. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for, and never let anyone leave her home without being fed.
She was an avid bowler for many years and during the 1990s, she helped run the junior program at Mel's South Shore Bowling Alley in Alameda, California, creating lifelong friendships and sharing her love of the sport with young bowlers. After moving to New Jersey, she continued bowling at Stelton Lanes in Piscataway, New Jersey, before eventually retiring from the sport.
She also loved to bake; another way she showed her love for the people around her. Her family will always remember her strength, her warmth, her unmistakable personality, and the love she gave so freely, which often came with endless trays of her signature rice or as many devil dogs as you could eat.
She is survived by her daughter, Despina Quezada, son, Joseph Kashatus, and her granddaughter Gabriella Quezada.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Friday, September 25th, 2026 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Buckland Funeral Home in Somerville, New Jersey.
The family would like to thank everyone who cared for and supported Annabelle, especially in her later years. Her warmth, generosity, unmistakable spirit, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on through her family, her friends, and all of the people whose lives she touched.
She will always be remembered, always be loved, and never be forgotten.
