Brenda Ann Evans was born on May 17, 1951 in Eatonton GA, to the late Eddie Frank Harris and Jerolene Marshall Evans. She was the 9th of 12 children. Brenda graduated from Butler Baker School in Eatonton, Georgia.
Brenda relocated to New Brunswick, NJ in 1968 with her firstborn son Cornelious, in pursuit of career opportunities.
It was there that she met the love of her life Kelly Williams. Together they welcomed 3 three additional children Kelly, Brent, and Amye making their family complete.
Brenda had a passion for cooking, sewing, trips to Atlantic City and spending time with her grandchildren. Brenda retired from the NJ Board of Education after 25 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories; loving and devoted daughter Amye (Mark) Evans, three sons Cornelious (Jill) Evans, Kelly Evans, Brent (Shonda) Evans. Grandsons Dion, Brent, Alim, Jamell,

She was preceded in death by her siblings Carolyn Williams, Lula Bell Cunningham, Willie Rogers Allen, Leonard Evans, and Alonzo Beasley.
