Carl L. Browning of six children was born on December 28, 1952 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Mary Browning. He left his footprint with us on April 14, 2021 at the age of sixty-eight. He is most remembered for his strong love of God, his kids, his family and the well-being of others. At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and was ordained as a deacon on October 8, 2017 at St. Johns Baptist Church of Jamesburg, NJ. He continued to serve as a deacon for Indian Creek Baptist Church in Madison, Georgia. Carl was employed at PSE&G of New Brunswick, NJ as a senior storekeeper for over thirty years in which he retired at the age of fifty-five years old. He was an avid and adventurous traveler who had a zest for life and never met a stranger. His radiant smile and joyful humor warmed the hearts of all those around him. He made sure to keep in touch with his family and friends which he would often visit while traveling. He was a mechanic, carpenter and a counselor to all of us which gave you an opportunity to listen to his corny jokes and his priceless advice whenever he called or was around. Carl is survived by his brother, Joseph (Andrea) Browning, Somerset, NJ; one son, Avery Browning (fiance’ Joi Troutman), Piscataway, NJ; four daughters, Eleanor Parris, Hightstown, NJ, Carla Browning, Tameka Browning (deceased), Covington, GA and Trina (Quinton) Little, Birmingham, AL; nine grandchildren, Blake Browning, Durham, NC, Destiny Spearman, Duane Spearman, Hightstown, NJ, Ahmad Lane, Zyria Jackson, Ja’Mir Ellison, Tyreek Farley, Covington, GA, Durand Dean, Decatur, GA, and Romello Dean, Birmingham, AL; two great grandchildren, Durand Dean Jr., Lailah Dean, Decatur, GA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends including close friends Sylvester Harry(Junior) and Carolyn Benson
He Only Takes The Best
A heart of gold stopped beating. Two shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. God knows you had to leave us, But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you The day he took you home. To some you are forgotten, To others just part of the past, But to us who loved and lost you, The memory will always last.
Avery, Trina, Carla, Eleanor
