Carmen Porch Obituary

*****The Memorial Service will be on ZOOM Meeting ID 87231015779 PASSWORD  023414*****

Carmen Porch was born on February 14, 1958, and fell asleep in death on May 31, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Antonio Russe; her mother, Martha Virginia Hunter; her husband, Clifford Horace Porch, Jr.; and her daughter, Danya Karin Porch.

Carmen was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose radiant smile, generous spirit, unwavering faith, and magnetic personality touched countless lives. She was known for her unbreakable spirit, inspiring determination, and compassionate heart, qualities that led her to a fulfilling career in nursing.
Raised in Newark, New Jersey, Carmen later settled in the New Brunswick area, where she became well known for the joy she brought to everyone she met. A graduate of North Brunswick Township High School, she pursued a career in nursing, dedicating herself to caring for others. Her strong work ethic, professional dedication, and genuine love for her profession left an indelible mark on her patients, colleagues, and all who knew her.

Beyond her career, Carmen was known for her famous macaroni and cheese, her love of writing poetry, and her ability to make others feel welcome and valued. Her warmth and kindness made her a light in the lives of many.
As a baptized servant of Jehovah, Carmen was active in her community and found great joy in helping others learn Bible truths. She treasured the Bible’s promise of a resurrection, a hope that brought her comfort and that continues to comfort those who loved her.

Carmen leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Marci Lolitta Russe Porch; her grandson, Ziaire Dewarren Thomas-Porch; and her granddaughter, Princess Shaniya Karin Porch. She is also survived by her siblings, Ramona Rita Talbert (Theodore Talbert), Lola Maria Eato (Brian Keith Eato, Sr.), Antonia Russe, Rodrigo Sanchez, Jr., and Erica Melissa Sanchez, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Although her passing leaves a void in our hearts, we are comforted by the knowledge that Carmen remains in Jehovah’s memory and awaits the fulfillment of the resurrection hope in Paradise, as promised at John 5:28-29. Carmen's legacy of faith, love, compassion, and service will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Scripture Close to Carmen’s Heart . . .
The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he.
Deuteronomy 32:4
