Cassandra L Brown

Cassandra Lafaye Brown sadly passed away on February 19, 2023, at her residence. She was born on April 1,1962 in New Brunswick, NJ and is the mother of four children.

Cassandra graduated from East Brunswick Vocational High School. Affectionately called by her middle name "Faye", she enjoys talks with her family, watching cooking shows, while also enjoying movies. Our mother worked as a bus aide at Barker Bus Company and a home health aide. She was a loving and caring person who always called to check on everyone she knew. She had a very loving and forgiving heart.

Cassandra was predeceased by her father, Charles Brown; and her youngest brother, Rodney Brown.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Lillie Brown of New Brunswick, NJ; her four children: Tiffany Horton of Highland Park, NJ, Siedah Horton-Abdullai (Mohammed Abdullai) of Highland Park, NJ, Aliyah Horton of Edison, NJ, and Al-malik Hankerson of Edison, NJ; a son-in-love, George Prince of Somerset, NJ; a grandson, Josiah Prince; a grandson on the way, Nasir Abdullai; four siblings: Averil Brown of Highland Park, NJ, James Brown of Highland Park, NJ, Genelle Brown of Edison, NJ, and Nicky Tyus of Trenton, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
