Corey Wilson Taylor (affectionally known as CoCo and Biggie) was born February 7, 1975, in Tarrytown, NY to Jerrie D. Taylor and Robert Wilson. He departed this life on July 6, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
Corey was raised in Ossining, NY and attended the Ossining School District. At a very young age, he moved to New Brunswick, NJ with his mother.
Corey became a member of Community Refuge Church under the leadership of Bishop Fred Rubin. Corey enjoyed his family, having fun, making people laugh, and he loved to dress.
Corey was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Jerrie Taylor, Monmouth Junction, NJ; two brothers, Keith Taylor (Dianna), Monmouth Junction, NJ; Brian Dawson (Cerise), Albany, GA; four sisters, Judy Conley (Richard) Atlanta, GA, Ronda Wilson, Peekskill, NY, Ta-Shonna Shivers, Bloomingburg, NY, Valerie Wilson, Las Vegas, NV, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his longtime companion, Jeannie (Mozelle) Colbert and Barbara his caregiver and best friend.
