DeAnna Osborne Obituary

DeAnna Rochelle Osborne lived a full and wonderful life. She was born on August 11, 1982 in Philadelphia, PA. DeAnna was the youngest child of Leonard and Theresa Poole.

DeAnna attended St. Matthew Baptist Church in Williamstown, New Jersey. At an early age, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. DeAnna enjoyed participating in the young adult choir, as well as getting involved in various youth activities at the church. Later in life, she became affiliated with Grace Bible Church in Eatontown, New Jersey where she continued to nurture her and Amos Jr’s faith in the Lord.

Although DeAnna lived in New Jersey, spent her middle school years attending Timothy Academy in Philadelphia,PA. It was at Timothy Academy that she developed a love of creative writing and reading various types of books. DeAnna attended Overbrook High School in Pine Hill,New Jersey. She always said her proudest moment was winning the Martin Luther King Oratorical contest her senior year. After graduating from high school DeAnna attended Rutgers University where she received a degree in Liberal Arts. Years later she would receive a master degree in Human Resource from American University.

Upon graduation from Rutgers University DeAnna was hired by Girls Scouts of America. It was there that she was able to blossom and flourish. DeAnna loved to talk and interact with people and this job allowed her to do just that. Her grandmother, Lillian Wright always said, “DeAnna never met a stranger.”

It was at a house party in Eatontown, New Jersey that Amos Osborne saw and met DeAnna Poole. The story goes that he walked over to her and her girlfriends and said the following, “ Hi, I’m your Cognac killer, Absolute guzzler, Jose Guavo smuggler, Fame the Hustler. I’m your entertainment for the evening. Having spent time talking to DeAnna, by the end of the evening Amos walked away from DeAnna determined to figure out that puzzle. On May 5, 2012, the puzzle was solved, Amos and DeAnna were married at Good Hope Baptist Church in Asbury Park, New Jersey. March 7, 2016, they were blessed with a son, Amos Osborne Jr. aka AJ.

Although during the latter years of her life, DeAnna had some health challenges. It never stopped her from enjoying life. DeAnn was proceeded in dearth by her father, Leonard Poole Jr. DeAnna leaves a legacy of love and memories to: husband Amos Osborne Sr, son Amos Osborne Jr, mother Theresa Poole, father and mother in law Lester and Blondey Osborne, sister LeAnn Brodhead (husband, Traun), sister in law Jemeka Murray, brother in law James Russel Murray(wife, Adrian), nieces Avery Brodhead, Danielle Cain, A’zia Bray, Odessa, Freedom, and Blondey, nephews Bryce Brodhead and Jon’mek Wright, along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will continue to celebrate and remember a unique life.
