Deborah Young also known as “Debbie” was born on August 7, 1951, in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Cecil and Mary Young. She was the third eldest of ten children and loved being a big sister. She attended the Plainfield School system and resided there most of her life.
She loved cooking, dancing, playing cards and old school music. She loved her family and enjoyed making chocolate chip cookies for her grands. She also loved watching movies and enjoyed TV shows like Columbo, Twilight Zone and Hitchcock. Debbie mentored her younger sisters and started a drill team for them when they were younger. She was a great big sister. She worked at Birchwood Nursing & Convalescent Center for over 20 years as a CNA. She was both fun and feisty.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Eric Holland and her eldest Son Ronald Young, parents Cecil and Mary Young, grandmother; Anna Pierce, siblings; Diana Bass, Cecil Young, Darlene Young, Alice Young, and Yana Young. She is survived by Children: Rochelle Williamson, Benjamin Young (Tiarra) and Kenneth Young; Grandchildren: Jerel Young, Kayron Perkins, Kayshon Perkins, Jaliyah Young, Jalisa Williamson, Rochelle Williamson Jr., Sa’Mina Young, Ammia Southerland, Khaliyah Young, Brooklyn Young, Ka’Mya Young and Tenia Young. Siblings; Barbara Nichols (Randy), Deresa Thomas, Wana White and Andre Young. She also leaves to cherish her memories, a host of beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
