Derrell Lamar Kelley

Derrell Lamar Kelley affectionately known as “Rellooo Hellooo”, was born on March 25, 1994, to Jessie and Sonia Kelley in Rahway, NJ.

His family resided in Roselle, NJ before moving to Pennsylvania, where he was a current resident. He was educated in the Bethlehem Area School District. He later graduated from Freedom High School, where he played basketball and held the position as a Forward. Derrell continued his education at Northampton Community College where he obtained an associate degree. Derrell was employed at the Department of Veteran Affairs in the Food and Nutrition department, as well as Loves’ Lounge.

Derrell was a graduate of the Boyz II Men program. He would attend Abundant Life Family Worship Church with his family through the years.

Derrell was such a unique person. No matter where he was, once in the room his energy and smile would brighten up the atmosphere. He loved to laugh and see others laugh. Derrell lived a somewhat simple life. He was a hard worker, enjoyed partying, and sleeping. Being around his family and friends was a joy for him. Whether it was in person or on the phone, he would always end the conversation with “I Love You”. It’s in those special moments that will be forever cherished by everyone he knew and loved.

At the age of 29, Derrell peacefully departed this life on April 8, 2023, at home in Easton, PA.

Derrell was predeceased by one uncle, Ricky Hunter. He leaves behind to cherish all of his fond memories to his parents, Jessie and Sonia Kelley; two brothers, Jalen Kelley and Corey Kelley (wife Anelis); a nephew, Niko; his paternal grandparents, Jessie and Dorothy Kelley; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Lillie Hunter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, good friends, and Crew  Love.
