Donald MacPhee

Donald Christopher MacPhee, 64, of Middletown, NJ, passed away on June 11, 2025.

He was born in Long Branch, NJ on July 07, 1960 to Joyce Marie MacPhee and William Thomas MacPhee. He grew up in Middletown and attended Middletown Village Elementary School, Thorne Middle School, Middletown North High School, and DeWitt Military Academy. He was married to ChengChia Yih MacPhee on December 28, 1993 in Red Bank, NJ. 

Growing up, Donald worked alongside his father, helping to build homes and even an experimental RV-6 aircraft.  He later worked at an electric factory company before spending 30+ years at Atlantic Glass Company where he was respected for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. Donald found peace in creating beautiful stained glass art and was a licensed recreational drone pilot through the Federal Aviation Administration. Donald enjoyed history and spent much time exploring Sandy Hook with his daughters. He enjoyed gardening and growing various vegetables at home and was proud of his bounty of tomatoes. He shared a deep bond with his beloved canine companions, Russell and Niko, who brought him constant comfort and joy.

He was survived by his mother Joyce MacPhee (84), his loving wife Cheng Chia Yih MacPhee (61), his siblings Scott MacPhee (64), Billy MacPhee (57), and Jennifer MacPhee Clunk (51); his children Jessica MacPhee (29) and Christina MacPhee (27).

He was well loved and will be missed.
