Elijah David Trammell entered this life on June 4,1987 at Muhlenburg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ, born to Susan Kay Trammell and Jeffrey Owens I. As a child Elijah attended the New Hope Baptist Church of Metuchen, NJ with his mother. He attended the Plainfield Public School system, graduated from Plainfield High School in 2007 and over time attended Essex County College. He was employed by Energex LLC in Edison, NJ and he enjoyed working events for Kitchen Kings Catering.
Elijah had a zeal for life and loved to spend time with his family and friends. Anytime you needed him, he was always there. He enjoyed “Jersey House” music, whenever it was played Elijah would head straight to the dance floor and two-step until he broke a sweat or until he was too tired to continue. He was looking forward to living his life to the fullest and was excited to begin traveling to see and experience the beauties of this world.
As Elijah began finding his way through life, he took pride in helping take care of his grandparents. But more recently, he discovered a newfound joy in raising his son Cairo David Trammell.
Elijah was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Eugene and OraMae Owens; uncle Madison “Dale” Trammell III and long-time family friend Derek “B.D.” Morrison.
