John Thomas Webb

     John Thomas Webb was born to Luvenia Davis Webb and Garland Webb on April 18, 1943, in Franklinton, North Carolina. John spent his early years in North Carolina before his family moved to New Jersey, where he completed his education and graduated from Central High in Newark, NJ.

     John worked for and retired from General Motors Delco Remy in New Brunswick, NJ and The Neighborhood House in Plainfield, NJ.

     John was a loving and devoted husband and father. John enjoyed reading and discussing Old Testament, fishing, quartet singing, playing checkers, watching westerns, boxing, and spending time with his family. John is the Webb family reigning champion of checkers and family scare pranks. John had an uncanny ability to repair or perhaps “reconfigure” many things around the house.

     John was preceded in death by, parents Luvenia and Garland Webb, sisters Ann Marie Davis and Lois Webb, brother Garland Webb Jr.

     John leaves to cherish his life, his loving wife, Tamme of 38 years, son Harold Thomas of Michigan son James Thomas of Highland Park daughter Tamica (Anthony) of Pennsylvania, daughter Kitora (Jason) of Alpha, son John Thomas Jr (Aliyah) of Georgia. Thirteen grandchildren, Alexander, Adrienne, David, James (Trisha), Jalen, Nijhae, Amari, Trinity, Ahmya, Anthony, Javon, Karter and Josiah. Along with five great grandchildren. Sister, Dorothy Person, and brother Julius Webb both of New Jersey. Brother in laws Robert Freeney (Shelley), Ruben Stovall and mother-in-law Odessa Stovall all of Piscataway NJ. Many nieces’ nephews, Godchildren, and friends.
