Jonathan was born on February 4, 1992, in Summit, New Jersey, to loving parents Leslie and Claudette Daley.

Jonathan had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life from an early age. He enjoyed watching movies, playing basketball, and spending time at the beach, where he found peace and inspiration. As a preteen, Jonathan attended a karate school for many years, which instilled in him valuable qualities like discipline, focus and personal achievement. Music was also another passion of Jonathan’s, and his love for singing brightened the lives of those around him.

A lifelong attendee of Eternal Life Christian Center in Somerset, New Jersey, Jonathan was a dedicated servant of his faith, humbly serving as an usher for several years. His mild-mannered temperament and gentle spirit endeared him to all, as he quietly yet profoundly impacted those who crossed his path—whether in church or in everyday life.

Jonathan attended the ECLC school in Chatham, New Jersey, where he developed a love for learning, structure, and organization—traits that remained with him throughout his life. After graduating in June 2013, Jonathan held various jobs, each showcasing his strong work ethic and organizational skills. For the last five years, he worked part-time at the local ShopRite supermarket, where his calm demeanor and dedication were greatly appreciated by both coworkers and customers.

Jonathan will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and the joy he brought to his family and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Osbourne and his paternal grandmother, Beryl Daley. Family members left to cherish Jonathan’s memory are his parents, Leslie and Claudette Daley; grandmother, Vera Osbourne; brother, Michael Daley (Heather); sister, Jennise Daley; nieces, DeAnna and Kendra Daley; aunts, Winsome Mattis, Angella Nembhard (Milton), Juliet Osbourne; uncle, Bryder Osbourne (Chantell); grandaunts, Monica Dwyer, Enid Downer, Millicent Lawrence (Harold), Rita Daley; and granduncle Percival Hedge. Jonathan will also be missed by other relatives and dear friends.

Jonathan’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
