Judith P. Bullard was born on April 23, 1945 to the late William H. Polk and Frances Polk in Philadelphia, PA. Judy transitioned to be with the Lord on August 13, 2021.
Judy received a Bachelor of Science degree while attending Cheyney State College, now Cheyney University in Pennsylvania. She held various managerial positions during her over 30-year career with AT&T.
Judy was an avid reader and had a love of learning. After retiring Judy volunteered as a literacy teacher helping adults learn to read.
In 2001 Judy joined the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens. She was an active member of the church and served for a time as the leader of the Designated Friends ministry. She attended church regularly until she became homebound due to her illness.
A devoted wife, mother and Grammy, Judith is survived by her husband of nearly 34 years, Sandy A. Bullard, son William “Bill” Wilson, daughter-in-law Alexandria (Ali), and her two wonderful grandchildren Carter and Kendall. She also leaves behind many cousins as well as many friends.
Special thanks go out to a dear friend, Carolyn Reeves-Jones, who was always willing to stay with Judy so that her husband could leave her to keep appointments or run errands. We are also thankful for Priscilla and Gillo of Ascend Hospice, as well as the staff at GoldenView Living who cared for Judy in her final days.
