Julius Moye

Julius Moye, age 87, departed this life on November 12, 2021, at home in New Brunswick, NJ. Born on December 23, 1933 in Pactolus, NC, Julius was to son of the late Arch and Malinda Moye.

Julius moved from Pactolus, NC to New Brunswick, NJ where he met his wife, Mamie “Luci” Blount. From this union five children were born. He later added two additional sons to the family. He remained a resident of the area for 64 years.

After receiving his education, Julius enlisted in the United States Army.  He was honorably discharged in 1957.  He also retired from Massey Concrete and was member of Union Local #156 and United Brotherhood of Carpenters #254.

Julius was a faithful member of Antioch Christian Church, where he served faithfully as an Usher.

Julius enjoyed sitting under The Tree, eating at The Diner and McDonalds just meet with his best friends over breakfast every morning. He also loved being surrounded by family and friends over dinner.

Left to forever cherish his fond memories his children: Lorenzo “Rennie” Moye, Sr. (Ursula), Alfonso “Al” Moye, Malinda “Linda” Kirkland (Jeffrey), Tarran “Terri” Moye, Julius “Tyrone” Moye, Julius “Jermaine” Foat, and Isaac Robinson (Tiyonna); his grandchildren: Paige Moye, Shanell Moye, Shallon Moye, Jasmine “Jas” Moye, Lorenzo “Lil Rennie” Moye, Jr., Jeffrey “Lil Jeff” Kirkland, Jr., Tiffany Kirkland, Chaz Kirkland, Summer Kirkland, Tyler Spinner, Imani Foat, Cle’Asia Robinson, Sioni Robinson, Heaven Robinson, Taraji Robinson, Taylor Robinson, and Isaac Robinson, Jr.; his great grandchildren: Tyreek Spigner, Trey Kirkland, Tristen Kirkland, Tony Willis, Tori Willis, Tiana Spinner, Janaiyah Moye, Jakhai Moye, Armani Fowlkes, Amari Fowlkes, Jayanna Mack, Jaylyn Mack, Kayla Means, and Di’Naijah Gale Moye; and a host of other relatives and friends.
