“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” - John 14:1-3
Justin M. Dixon affectionately known as "Hood", was born December 28, 1988, to Connie Dixon Council and Warren Jackson. He departed this life on January 8, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Justin was a lifelong resident of the area. He was educated in the New Brunswick Public Schools. He was working for the complex where he lived.
Justin was a family mand and loved them greatly. His greatest love was for his son, Lil Justin. He also shared a special bond with his two nephews, Emery and Kyng. Justin loved sports and would host weekly Sunday football gathering. He just learned how to cook and enjoyed putting something on the grill to cook. In his spare time, Justin liked play games such as PS4 Madden and 2K. He loved listening to music. He would often listen to Spanish music and start dancing around. He had a passion to learn Spanish and he became a natural at it. A man with such a laid-back demeanor has left such a major impact on the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Justin leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Connie Dixon Council (Robert) and Warren Jackson (Darlene); his son, Justin "Lil Justin" Dixon, Jr.; two brothers, Warren Dixon (Andrea) and Andre Dixon (Davina); two nephews, Emery Dixon and Kyng Dixon; his step siblings: Renee, Michelle, Yalonda and Robert Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” - 2 Corinthians 5:8
