Obituary

Lawrence Benjamin Nowell was born to the late Robert Nowell Sr and Bessie Walls Nowell in Raleigh North Carolina on May 3, 1932
 Ben received his formal education in the North Carolina public school system Ben moved to Chester Pennsylvania at an early age to live with his older brother June and sister-in-law Mary
 Ben enlisted in the United States Army and served faithfully and was honorably discharged. After returning from military service he was employed by Baldt Anchor for several years as a laborer. Ben later made his home in Northern New Jersey for over 50 years working at various jobs
 Ben was known among family and friends to have a real sense of humor. He always had a way to make every one laugh.
 Ben was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Bessie Nowell, eight brothers: Robert ,James, Charlie,Thomas, Atlas, William, Cleveland and Leonish, two sisters Ruth Nowell Gill and Anna Mae Nowell
 He leaves to cherish his memories, a special friend Jeanette Midler, two sons, Lawrence(Larry) Nowell and Michael Nowell both of Chester, Pa. Two daughters Benita Moore and Sheila Moore both of Chester, Pa. Six grandchildren,15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
