Lester Elmore Wilson was born on March 3, 1934, in San Nicholas, on the island of Aruba. One of seven siblings born to Mincelee "Minna" Jackson Wilson and Samuel Edward "Bill or Joey" Wilson. As a child, Lester enjoyed playing baseball and dominoes.
As a young man, Lester pursued studies in technology and eventually secured a position as an oil refinery engineer at Lago Oil and Transport Company in San Nicholas, Aruba. Amidst his professional endeavors, Lester embraced the role of a young father, raising three children with love and dedication.
In the journey of life, Lester crossed paths with a young lady named Myronne. Their love story blossomed, culminating in marriage on May 30, 1957. Together, Lester and Myronne were blessed with five children.
Despite their love for their home and loved ones in Aruba, Lester and Myronne made the courageous decision to migrate to the USA, seeking greater opportunities for their children. The Wilson family of seven settled in Perth Amboy, NJ, where they established their home at 446 Mechanic St. Lester's entrepreneurial spirit shone as they rented out the second floor, creating an additional stream of income along with his career as Janitorial Staff with the East Brunswick School District.
As a man of deep faith and family values, Lester took pride in instilling these core principles in his children. His love for family extended beyond bloodlines, attracting many generations of adopted family members into the Wilson fold. After the passing of his first wife, Myronne, Lester found love again and spent the rest of his days cherishing Mrs. Judith Clark Wilson.
Lester leaves behind his loving wife of 7 years, Mrs. Judith Clark Wilson; five sisters, Sandy Jones, Niomy Wilson, Betty Wilson, Rosalyn Tross (Antonio), and Panzy Jacobs (Samuel Deceased); five sons, Nelson Wilson (Manuela), Anthony Haddocks (Marie), Terry Wilson (Vanessa), Lester Wilson, and Patricio Wilson (Mia); three daughters, Patricia Holiday (Franklin), Sharen Kelly (Dwight), and Jeanette Perry (Ervin); 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of loved ones.
