Milton A. Marrow Jr., affectionately known as "MJ" by his family and friends, entered eternal rest on July 8, 2026. Born on February 18, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of the late Milton and Barbara Marrow. He attended the Newark Public Schools and took great pride in working throughout his life. Whether assisting at local grocery stores or completing meaningful tasks in a supportive work environment, MJ approached every opportunity with dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic. He found joy in staying busy, helping others, and doing his part with pride.
Milton will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious smile, and wonderful sense of humor. He had a special gift for telling jokes that brought laughter wherever he went. His lighthearted spirit, kind nature, and ability to brighten the day of those around him will remain treasured memories for all who knew and loved him. His laughter was contagious, and his joyful presence brought comfort and happiness to family, friends, and everyone blessed to know him.
At a very young age, Milton's mother instilled in him the importance of faith and a love for God. His spiritual journey began at New Hope Baptist Church in East Orange, New Jersey, where he worshipped alongside his parents. His love for God kept him rooted in the church throughout his life. After relocating, he later joined First Baptist Church of Vauxhall, where he faithfully worshiped. under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Nichole R. Drakeford, Senior Pastor. His faith remained a constant source of strength, peace, and joy.
MJ leaves to cherish his precious memory his beloved uncle, aunts, cousins, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and gentle spirit. Though he will be deeply missed, his loving heart, joyful smile, and the many laughs he shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
