Pamela Robin Jeffers was born on December 3, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Albert Wiggins and the late Madeline Gray Wiggins. She is the eldest of 2 siblings, Ronald and Keith Wiggins.
Pamela graduated from Springfield Gardens High School, Class of 1978. She later attended LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, New York, graduating with her associates degree.
At an early age, Pamela expressed a love and appreciation for the creative arts which landed her roles in school plays depicting her favorite musicals. It was then Pamela realized where her passions resided: song and dance. She dedicated a lot of time to teaching dance lessons to the young ladies in the neighborhood and singing with the New York All City High School Choir.
In the late 80s, Pamela gave her life to the Lord at the Allen AME Church in Queens, New York. On September 29, 1990, she married Richard L. Jeffers. They welcomed their two daughters, Taylor and Darcel Jeffers in 1991 and 1995 respectively.
As a minister and faithful follower of the Lord, Pamela hosted bible studies and co-founded ministries to share her passion for Christ. These ministries include Sisters of Destiny & Purpose and For “His” Glory Ministries. As an entrepreneur, Pamela founded The Creative Legacy, her creative consulting business; Harvest Time Inner-vations LLC, her publishing company where she served as CEO; and Christian Quarterly Magazine (later renamed ANEW Christian Magazine), where she served as Editor-in-Chief, alongside her brother, Ronald Wiggins. Pamela was also a published author; in 2009, she wrote and self-published her debut novel, Something Old, New, Borrowed & True.
During her business career, Pamela was employed at ADT as a payroll supervisor; she also worked at Thomas Cook, Bell Atlantic, the Franklin Board of Education, and for her most recent occupation, as a Digital Media Coordinator at HearingLife.
Pamela loved to laugh, but even more than that, she loved sharing her joy with others. Her favorite pastimes included talking to her loved ones and passing down family stories. As aforementioned, Pamela loved music; most notably, Motown, Barbra Streisand, and her favorite musicals, West Side Story and the Sound of Music. In her downtime, she enjoyed watching the Young & the Restless, cooking on Sundays, and walking in the park with her husband.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 31 years, Richard L. Jeffers; her daughters, Taylor and Darcel Jeffers; her father, Albert Wiggins; her brothers, Ronald and Keith Wiggins; and her mother-in-law, Ondina Jeffers. Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Madeline Wiggins.
