Patricia Elaine Jackson was born to the late Edith L. Stout-Jackson and Horace Jackson Sr. on March 18, 1947, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Franklin High School located in Somerset, New Jersey. She later became an employee of E.R. Bristol Meyers Squibb & Sons located in New Brunswick as a lab technician, where she was employed for over 40 years until retirement.
Some of Pat’s favorite past times over the years included playing bingo, lunch dates with past coworkers, reading, crossword puzzles and playing video games. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren having meals together and simply exchanging comical stories. She had a heart of gold and rarely had an unkind word about others. However, when she did have something to say it was usually hysterical, but true. Patricia was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was compassionate, caring and for the most part a quiet spirit that simply enjoyed sitting and watching others. She was a rare jewel that allowed others to shine. She will be missed more than words could ever express.
Patricia is survived by two daughters from her marriage with Charles Edward Houston, Angela Tulane Houston of Somerset, NJ and Toni Patricia Houston-Dowbachuk of Franklin Park, NJ. Two grandchildren, Darrell Earl Baker of Somerset, NJ and Tasha Elaine Dowbachuk of Franklin Park, NJ. Her brother, Dr. Darrell Anthony Jackson (Dr. Tulane Jackson) of Hamilton, NJ. Her nephew’s include Horace (Tony/TJ) Jackson III, Brett Christopher Jackson(deceased), Malachi Ahmad Jackson(deceased), Jeremiah Ahmad Jackson and a niece, Kamilah Tuere Jackson-Woodson (Corey Woodson). She is survived by one remaining aunt, Ada Wooden and a host of cousins, Godchildren and extended family.
