Renee Mae Redding

Renee Redding, age 25, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, passed away on November 19, 2023, in North Plainfield, New Jersey. She was born on May 14, 1998, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Renee, as she was affectionately known, was a vibrant and outgoing person who brought joy to those around her.

Renee attended Charter School in Plainfield, NJ and Adult Learning Center in New Brunswick, NJ. She pursued a career as an entrepreneur and was the proud owner of Snackz and Packz, LLC. In her free time, Renee enjoyed dancing, clubbing, cooking, and hosting.

Renee was a loving mother to her son, Zay’Vion Wrotten, and cherished her family and friends. She had a fiery personality and was passionate about everything she put her mind to. Renee had a knack for getting what she wanted, and her obnoxious laugh and loving soul will be deeply missed. She had a special bond with her late father, Alfonso Redding, whom she adored, and is now resting peacefully by his side.

Renee was predeceased by her father, Alfonso Redding; an aunt, Argy Redding; and an uncle, Frank Redding. 

Renee is survived by her son, Zay’Vion Wrotten; her mother, Rene Redding; her siblings: Andre Morgan, Eli White, Nefertiti White, Syncere Redding, Tiffany Redding, Alfonso Conover, Bernice Butler, and Shawn Butler; her nieces: Suhnubia Felix, Niasia Butler, Sage Morgan, Nyelle Butler, Nora’Lee Reed whom is her goddaughter, Grayland Morgan, and Audrey Morgan; her nephews: Zyere Hill, Na’Zirh Morgan, Ke’AirMorgan, Andre Morgan, Jaleel Butler; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

We will forever cherish the memories of Renee’s vibrant spirit and loving nature. May she rest beautifully, and may her name never be forgotten. We love you, Renee Mae.
