Rochelle Watson-Brown

Rochelle Watson-Brown affectionately called “Rose”, 59, departed this life on January 3, 2022, in North Brunswick, NJ. She was born on May 23, 1962, to the late James Sr. and Clara Watson.

Born in Long Branch, NJ, Rochelle grew up in Matawan, NJ and attended Matawan High School. She was a current resident of Carteret, NJ. Rochelle worked in dry cleaning industry and was a lifelong freelance hairstylist.

In addition to her parents, Rochelle was predeceased by one son, Damon Thomas; two brothers, Calvin Watson and Alphonso Burgess; and a close friend, Brian O. Thomas.

She leaves to behind to mourn and cherish her memories: her husband, Arthur Brown; six children: Da'von Brian Thomas, Ge'ron Thomas, Melisha Thomas, Jamar (Thomas) Alford, Arnaesia Brown, and Ajanae Brown; 11 grandchildren whom she adored; four sisters, Darlene, Cheryl, Carla, and Nicole; three brothers, James Watson, Jr., Rodney Watson, and Terrell Watson; and a host of other siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
