Ronald C Castle

Ronald Clarence Castle, 54, of Somerville, NJ, died on October 3, 2023. 

He was born on November 2, 1968 to Madeline Castle and Ulysses Woodard. 

Ron was a staple in the Somerville community. You could usually catch him on the tracker side of town on or around 3rd Street. He was definitely a people person and knew everybody. If you saw Ronnie out and about, you were usually greeted with a big smile and a firm handshake or a bear hug. Although he presented a tough exterior, he was truly a kind-hearted, gentle giant. He was a member of Carpenters Local 254 and an avid fan of self-defense, martial arts, and old school karate flicks. We will always cherish his loud, unique laugh and his signature phrase - Bless Up!

Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Castle and his brother, Benjamin Black. He is survived by his three children, Ryan Michael Sapp, Aja M. Brown, Ronnie Ilea Castle and his granddaughter, McKenzie Amelia Sapp. 

A heavenly birthday memorial will be held in his honor on Saturday, November 4th from 5-11pm at The Majestic Ballroom located at 224 Stockton Street in Phillipsburg, NJ.
