Rose Marie Hinson was born on June 11, 1964, to the late James and Rose Mingle in Somerville, NJ.
Rose graduated from Somerville High School in 1982 She met and married her husband, Alton Hinson, November 25,1989 in which her life was a testament to kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family
Rose’s infectious laughter and compassionate spirit touched everyone she met.
She had the remarkable ability to make people feel valued and loved, and her home was always a place of warmth and comfort.
Rose was highly skilled with knitting needles and crochet hooks. Her craft talent was legendary. Her hands were rarely still crafting beautiful creations that reflected her creative spirit which was displayed at various Crafts and Event shows.
Rose took pride in caring for her family by preparing daily meals except on Monday, which she designated and declared as Mom’s Day Off.
Her memory will remain in the hearts of her family & friends and loved ones. Rose was a devoted wife to her husband Alton and a loving mother to their three children, Christina Marie, Thomas Alton, & Edward James all from Somerville. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her brothers Chris (Somerville) and William (Florida), Her sisters Margaret (South Carolina), And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family was the connection to Rose’s life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was a simple dinner, family cookout, or working on puzzles.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Rose, brothers, Larry and Jimmy, and her sisters, Regina and Lou ann.
Rose will be missed by so many. We take comfort in the many lives she touched.
