Steven Donnell McGlone Jr.

Steven Donnell McGlone Jr., 32, of North Plainfield, NJ, passed away at his home, on September 24, 2019 lovingly surrounded by family and friends.

Steven was born in Livingston, NJ to Steven Donnell McGlone Sr. and Linda Jean McGlone on December 16, 1986. He was a loving brother to his older sister Gia Ware and his younger sister Cherrelle Price. Steven attended North Plainfield schools. He graduated high school in 2005, where he played football and held the positions of linebacker and wide-receiver. Following high school, He matriculated and graduated from Everest Institute with a Medical Assistant Certificate in 2013. He later worked as an Electronic Assembler from Mars International for four years.

Steven was a very genuine, calm, and caring person. He loved spending time with his son Nasir, going to the movies with his sister and cousins, and listening to Christian Hip Hop. An unknown skill to most, Steven studied American Sign Language. He loved D.C. and the Marvel Comic series and had a collection of over 100 comic books. Steven authored a children’s short story comic series called “The Chosen Ones” which the family plans to publish in his honor. 

Steven Donnell McGlone Jr. is preceded in death by his Grandfather Herbert White, Uncle William White, and Aunt Diane Roberts.

Steven Donnell McGlone Jr., leaves behind to cherish his memory: his son Nasir McGlone, parents: Steven Donnell McGlone Sr. and Linda McGlone, sisters: Gia Ware and Cherrelle Price, brother in-laws: Jonathan Ware and Robert Price, grandparents: Elders Joseph and Ernestine McGlone, and Elizabeth White, aunt Evelyn Johnson, uncle Anthony McGlone, Cousins Samantha Bell, James McGlone, Aaliyah McGlone, Cordell Suggs, Ayanna Ford, nephews: Caleb Price and Jonathan Ware Jr., niece Isabella Ware and childhood friends Andrew, Michael, Louis, Cory, Jerome, and Sory. He also leaves behind a host of family members and friends.

Memorials may be given to Buckland Funeral Home.
