Susan D Devonshire

Susan Diane Devonshire, 64, departed this life on March 29, 2023, at Capital Health-Hopewell Campus in Pennington, NJ.

Susan was born on May 8, 1958, in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Richard and Gladys Bagner. She graduated from New Brunswick High School. Susan joined the United States Army, and later was honorably discharged. 

After serving her country, Susan continued her education at Middlesex County College and obtained a degree in Nursing. She was employed at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital and Trenton Psychiatric Hospital as a Registered Nurse, where she retired from in October of 2022.

Susan was a woman of great faith and enjoyed spending time in the Word of God. God was her source and she let it be known. She became a longtime member of Eternal Life Christian Center in Somerset, NJ.

Susan loved to spend time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a woman of many hobbies including: Star Trek, traveling, jazz music, bubbles, kites, museums, aquariums, national parks, astronomy, disney, writing the president, flea markets and helping others. Her love for life and others will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Williams.

She leaves to cherish memories her husband, Drayton Devonshire; her children: Isaiah Bagner, Elizabeth Bagner, and Sara Bagner; her grandchildren: Jeremiah Bagner, Hayden Bagner, Daphne Bagner, Matthias Bagner, Camryn Majette, and Isaiah Bagner, Jr.; her siblings: Cynthia Bagner, Timothy Bagner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
