Tara Estelle Salter

Tara Estelle Salter was born January 19, 1973 to Nancy Salter and the late Eugene Salter, Jr. She departed this life on April 1, 2021 in Hillside NJ.         

Tara was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Madison Central High School. After graduating, she continued her education at Cheyney University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was currently employed for Newark School District as a Special Ed Teacher.

Tara was a member of Elizabeth Avenue Weequahic Church and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

Tara enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved exercising, traveling, shopping, fashion, and board games. She was a confident woman and did not mind snapping a picture or two to capture the beauty she possessed on the inside that sparkles on the outside. Tara was friend to many and enjoyed a good conversation with them.

Tara was predeceased by her father, Eugene Salter, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Nancy Salter; two brothers, Ricci Anderson (Ann) and Christopher Tanner (Nicole); one sister, Santosha Anderson (Walter); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and colleagues.
