Terry Lester Jones

Terry Lester Jones was born on January 14, 1958, in Somerville, NJ to the late Samuel Robert Jones Sr. and Elouise Miller-Jones. Terry transitioned to be with the Lord on July 11, 2021.

Terry was raised in South Bound Brook, NJ, and attended South Bound Brook Schools. The family relocated to Somerville and Terry graduated from Somerville High School in 1976.

Terry was employed at John Wiley & Sons, Baker & Taylor, as well as a few other companies.

Terry loved sports, especially basketball and football. On any given Sunday or Saturday, you could always catch him watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bulls. Terry loved Michael Jordan the most.

Terry loved hanging out at “29 Fairview” also known as “The Porch” Terry loved all of his friends and family who would stop by.

Terry always got such a kick out of his “nephew” Hova and “niece” Beauty. He really loved those pups, and they brought him so much joy.

Terry was predeceased by his parents Samuel Robert Jones Sr., & Elouise Jones, and his brother Samuel Robert Jones Jr.

Terry leaves to cherish his loving memory, his daughter Aneysa Pointer-Jones, his sister Claudia Dorsey, his nephew Keine (Kate) Dorsey, his great nephews Max & Miles, his great niece Mia, 3 Maternal Aunts Anna Murdock, Hannah Avant and Sarah Ashley, and a host of Cousins and Friends.
