Valorie Bush

Valorie Denice Bush departed this life at the age of 65 on August 16, 2023. Her life leaves a void that will forever be remembered by the many lives she touched along the way.

On May 13, 1958, Valorie was born in Panama City, Florida, her and her family moved to East Orange, NJ in late 60’s. They later settled in Somerset, NJ, where she remained a resident. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1976. Valorie worked at Ortho Pharmaceutical in the 80’s, a Home Health Aide in the early 2000’s, and lastly at Stop and Shop Deli as Clerk 2010.

Valorie valued to fundamentals of family. Her family meant the world to her, and they were her priority. Loved her grandkids to the fullest. She was also a very good cook.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Donn Rush; her son, Donn Rush II (Taliah); two granddaughter, Niaja Rush and Nyonna Rush; one grandson, Ahsir Rush; her mother, Eldonia Owens; one brother, Dale Bush (Lois); and host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
